Victims of narco-terror speak out

Victims of Narco-terror staged sit-in protest at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai Community Hall today.
During the protest demonstration, members of the 'Victims of Narco-terror' held placards that read "You stop using drugs", "You stop funding narcos", "We are not tools, we are humans" "Narco terrorism=sin" .
Speaking on the sideline of the demonstration held under the banner "Sit-in protest against narco-terrorism and its collateral damage", the body's convenor Bachaspatimayum Bedakumar Sharma said the present crisis and violent clashes are a result of narco-terrorism and people are facing the brunt of the onslaught of the narco-terrorists and their supporters.

The organisation, Victims of Narco-terror is an independent body not related to any other civil society organisations and groups.
The members are solely composed of victims of the narco-terrors, he said.
The sit-in was staged to denounce narco-terrorism and to save the people, especially youth of the State from drugs and narco-terrorism.
There are more than 3,000 in Manipur who are direct victims of narco-terror, said Bedakumar.
The Victims of Narco-terror is also reaching out to displaced people staying in relief camps and efforts are on to provide them moral/psychological support, he said.
It will also lend all possible assistance in efforts to protect State's integrity, he added.
