CLEAVE organises blood donation camp at JNIMS

CLEAVE (Progressive Metal Band), today organised a 1-day blood donation camp under the banner "Ema Ge Damukta Ee Kathoklase" at the Blood Bank & Transfusion Unit of Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Porompat, in connection with the "15th birthday celebration" of CLEAVE band.
A release issued by CLEAVE informed that members of the band, family members and friends donated a total of 25 units of blood during the camp.
Drummer and manager of the band, Ch Khunjaoba said, "It is not the time for us to play music, we lay down our instruments and ready to fight for our motherland" .
He also expressed concern over the ongoing violence which has led to irreparable loss of many innocent lives and displaced thousands of people.
He extended his deepest condolence to all the families who lost their loved ones and prayed for restoration of peace & normalcy in the State.
"Let's all give peace a chance & make our motherland a harmonious State so that musicians like us need not use guns instead of guitars and donate blood for the common folk and not for the casualties of war", asserted RK Vavindra, bassist of CLEAVE.
