Imphal, December 17 2010: The state government has made some certain arrangement as a safety and precautionary measure and for the smooth functioning of the ensuing 9th Session of the 9th Manipur Legislative Assembly from December 22 at the Assembly Hall, Imphal.

As per the office memorandum of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretariat, the vehicles of Chief Minister and Ministers will enter through Gate No 1 and exit through Gate No 2 .

Vehicles of Speaker, Opposition leader, Chairman of HAC, Vice Chairman of HAC, Chairmen of the financial committees will park inside the Assembly compound.

Vehicles of MLAs will enter through Gate No 3, exit through the same gate, exit through the same and park at the western side of Department of Family Welfare.

Vehicles of government secretariat, departments, Press are not allowed to enter the assembly compound and will park at the western side of Family Welfare department.

Official vehicles of Assembly Secretariat, Medical team, Fire Tenders of Manipur Fire Service will park inside the Assembly compound.

Private vehicles of Assembly Secretariat Staff and employees are not allowed to enter the Assembly compound.

Vehicles of visitors are not allowed beyond the crossing points of NH 39 on the eastern and Assembly road on the western side.

Materials not related with the business of the house and cell phones if any in the possession of Members will be deposited with the security personnel on duty.

The memorandum also informed the Ministers, Members, Officers and the media persons to switch off their cell phones while inside the House.

All Assembly Secretariat staff should display their photo ID card.

No construction or renovation work will be continued during the Assembly session.
