Govt invites applications for PMRBP

Imphal, August 01 2023: The Government of Manipur has invited applications for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) from any interested child, who is an Indian citizen and residing in India and not exceeding 18 years.

As per a notification issued by Khumanthem Diana Devi, Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East, the application for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) will be received only on the online portal https://awards.gov.in and the last date of online application form has been fixed on August 31 .

In view of the current situation, it further stated that internet access for the said purpose can be availed from two offices namely NIC Imphal East Office and DIO (DIT) Imphal East, both situated at DC Imphal East Office Complex Porompat from 9:30 am to 5 pm everyday till the opening up of internet access for the general public.

It may be noted that the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) gives due recognition to children who have done selfless acts of exceptional bravery for others.

The award is conferred to young children with exceptional abilities and outstanding achievements who are role models and have had widespread and visible impact on society in the fields of sports, social service, science and technology, environment, arts and culture and innovation, which deserve due recognition at the national level.

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) carries a medal, certificate and citation.

The winners of the award will be conferred by the President of India at New Delhi.
