Thangmeiband Youth Improvement Organisation (TYIO) and meira paibis of Thangmeiband Lourungpurel Leikai joined hands to stage a sit-in protest condemning the Kukis' demand for withdrawal of State forces from Moreh at TYIO Shed today.
The protestors collectively maintained that Moreh is a vital part of Manipur and the State forces exist to safeguard Manipur.

Questioning why these forces have been stopped from entering Moreh, she asked if those opposing their deployment view these personnel as refugees.
She reiterated that Manipur must be protected by the State Government and the State forces.
They are for the people.
Further, highlighting the numerous cases of deaths and injuries sustained as a result of the conflict, she appealed to the concerned authority to implement NRC in the State and crush narco-terrorism from the soil of Manipur.
Appealing for the State forces to be allowed entry into Moreh so they can be stationed there, she stressed that in cases when other security forces happen to have a skewed outlook, the State forces will be there to input a more well-rounded and wholesome point of view.
Appealing to the Governor for "one State one administration", she called for urgent efforts to contain the violence.
The protestors at today's sit-in protest held many placards with messages such as "Stop narco-terrorism", "Moreh is in Manipur", "One State, one administration", "Reinforce State force in Moreh", "NRC need of the hour" etc.
