New Public Higher Secondary School celebrates foundation day

Public Higher Secondary School celebrated its 26th foundation day at the school campus located at Khangabok in Thoubal district today.
Khangabok Assembly Constituency MLA, Okram Surjakumar and School Governing Body (GB) chairman M Rameshwor Singh graced as the chief guest and president of the programme respectively.
Chief Editor of Sanaleibak Daily, Ningombam Hemantakumar; GB secretary Dr Kh Jugindro Singh; Khangabok Zilla Parishad former member Kh Rajmohon Singh; Khangabok Part-I Gram Panchayat former pradhan N Mala Devi; Khangabok Part-III Gram Panchayat former nominee pradhan M Manglemjao Singh and land donor of the school, M Maniram also attended the occasion as the dias members.

The main highlight of the programme was the granting of free educational facilities to 30 displaced students taking refuge at relief camps by presenting the relevant documents by the dignitaries.
Students of the school who have achieved commendable achievements were felicitated during the programme.
Speaking as the chief guest, Okram Surjakumar appealed to the students to pursue their education with honesty and dedication to become well qualified and responsible individuals in future and to contribute their best for the development of the society thereby creating a positive impact.
He also expressed concern on the immense challenges in the education system owing to the situation of the State and maintained that it has impacted the lives of the students to a large extent.
The students also showcased different musical and dance performances.
