Meeting held to extend solidarity to Palestine

A meeting was held to extend solidarity to Palestine at Lilong Turel Ahanbi Darul Uloom Markaz Mamang today.
The solidarity meeting was jointly organised by All India Peace & Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO), All India Tanzeem-E-Insaf (AITI) and Anjuman Islahi Moasira (AIM), said a statement by the National secretary AITI and the solidarity meeting organising committee.
Delivering the keynote address of the meeting, AIPSO Manipur State Committee general secretary Kshetrimayum Santa said, 'Many Nations across the globe support the call for an 'Independent Palestine' and today's meeting is being held to extend solidarity to the people of Palestine' .

Eminent speaker of the meeting, AIPSO Manipur State Committee president, Dr M Nara stressed on the need to trace the root cause of prevailing unrest in Israel and Manipur as well.
Maintaining the conflict and unrest are politically driven, Dr Nara said that measures should be taken up to solve these issues politically in amicably.
Talking in the context of Manipur, he said that it is the rightful demand raised by the people of the State for a peaceful solution, to form a negotiation table and to end the violence and restore peace and normalcy in the crisis stricken State.
Dr Nara asserted that it is the duty of the Government to materialize the demands of the people to solve the prevailing crisis peacefully for the welfare of all.
AIPSO Manipur executive member, Advocate Shyamacharan Sanoujam; social worker Sahani Saimond; Anjuman Islahi Moasira coordinator Mohiuddin; All India Tanzeem-E-Insaf president, Dr Badruddin; former Pradhan Mohammad Edris Ali; educationist Mohammad Abdul Hasim and local leader Abdul Halim also attended as the presidium members of the meeting.
Later a Dua ceremony was held praying for the peace of Manipur and Palestine.
