Sambit Patra goes back after reconciliatory meet

In the backdrop of the recent resignations by four BJP MLAs from their respective advisory and administrative posts, a meeting of the BJP Legislature Party was held today with BJP National spokesman and Manipur in-charge Sambit Patra and BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) Abhay Giri.
The meeting held at the Nityaipat Chuthek office of BJP Manipur Pradesh was attended by Chief Minister N Biren, State BJP president A Sharda, Ministers and MLAs.
After the meeting, all the participants of the meeting stood together in front of the party office and shouted in unison that they would motivate the masses to listen to the 100th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Maan Ki Baat which would be broadcast on April 30 .
Later Sambit Patra left Imphal for Delhi.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting, Chief Minister N claimed that there is no conflict within the BJP Legislature Party.
A Sharda maintained that there is no misunderstanding within the party.
Biren said that all the MLAs including those who went to Delhi attended the meeting and they agreed to make necessary arrangements so that the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Maan Ki Baat reach each and every Assembly segment.
He also appealed to all the people to listen to the Maan Ki Baat.
A Sharda said that the meeting held today was about the party's organisation.
She said that necessary arrangements are being made so that not only BJP workers but all the people of Manipur can listen to the 100th episode of Narendra Modi's Maan Ki Baat anywhere in the State.
There is no misunderstanding within the party, she said.
As per official letters received at the party office, MLA Dr Y Radheshyam (Hiyanglam AC) would be undergoing surgery on April 29.Th Radheshyam (Heirok AC) wrote that he went to Delhi for medical treatment.
Other MLAs said that they went outside the State for family matters/problems, Sharda said.
BJP does not work by targeting elections although it has been engaging in organisational works since 1980 .
Efforts to ensure that rights and opportunities reach each and every citizen of the country is a regular programme of BJP, she said.
The BJP State unit president exuded confidence that the people, keeping faith in BJP's welfare programme, would vote for BJP with a thumping majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
