Medicines, monetary assistance donated

Imphal/Thoubal, October 09 2023: Keeping in mind the difficulties faced by people due to the present crisis in Manipur, Sougaijam Binesh Singh, son of S Birachandra Singh and Th Sandhyarani Devi of Moirangkhom Sougaijam Leikai, Imphal West donated a significant quantity of medicines to aid those affected by the crisis and seeking treatment at Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd (SHRI) on Monday.

In a release, SHRI manager (BD) L Premjit Singh conveyed that S Biren's commitment to alleviating the suffering of those in needs is a shining example of community spirit and solidarity during challenging times.

The management of SHRI applauds the incredible generosity of S Binesh as his selfless contributions serve as a reminder that, even in the face of challenges, compassion can unite communities and spark positive change, it added.

Meanwhile, family of late Okram Mani Singh of Thoubal Athokpam Makha Leikai on Monday provided monetary assistance of Rs 40,000 in his name to SOCDEC for managing the relief camp run by it at Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex under the aegis of district administration of Thoubal.

The financial aid was handed over by O Petobi Devi, wife of late 6 Mani to SOCDEC cashier Lairenlakpam Athouba.
