Ranji Trophy: Sikkim trail Manipur by 138 runs on Day 3

Imphal, December 15 2022:
Manipur added 139 runs as Sikkim trailed by 138 runs in their Ranji Trophy plate group tie on Thursday at SICA Ground, Rangpo, Sikkim.
The state team resumed their second innings on the third day with six wickets in hand and ended the innings with a total of 193 runs after being bowled out.
Earlier in their first innings, Manipur had scored 186 runs.
Ronal M led the Manipur's innings scoring 50 as B Rahman (33) added 10 runs on the third day before being dismissed.
Rex claimed a decent knock of 33, Priyojit K was unbeaten on 21 and Jotin Pheiroijam contributed 11.Sikkim, who had accumulated 220 in their first innings, began their second innings with 21 runs in 9 overs at stumps to trail by 138 runs.
Openers Arun (30 not out) and Pankaj (24 not out) remained unbeaten to put Sikkim in a good position.
Earlier, Palzor continued his bowling form to take 3 more wickets while Sumit took one to help Sikkim cut short Manipur's second innings.
