Notably, the All Naga Students' Association Manipur had yesterday called on the Mao Council and the Southern Angami Public Organization (SAPO) to exercise restraint and solve the boundary dispute traditionally.
The student body had said that the time was not right to pursue the issue considering the crucial peace talk between the NSCN-IM and the Government of India.
ANSAM had also appealed to the Southern Angami Public Organization to reconsider and revoke its resolution to ban Mao citizens from entering the Southern Angami Area with effect from December 15 this year.
