Al-Ameen win to move up to sixth as relegation-threatened RULE beat B Hawk

Al-Ameen and RULE notched up contrasting victories in the MNCA Elite Tournament on Tuesday.
Al-Ameen beat MPSC by seven runs to secure their third win at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
With the result, Al-Ameen jumped to sixth from ninth in the standings with seven points from their 10 matches.
Electing to bat, Al-Ameen struggled to score big runs and ended up making 127 after being dismissed in 29.4 overs.
Shahadat Ali (22), A1 Bashid (20), Kabir Ahmed (16) and Nasirshah Alam (15) were the batters who got into double digits in their innings.
For MPSC, Indraban Koi-jam and S Shangker picked up three wickets each, Oinam Rojit took two and Maibam Bijoykumar bagged one.
In reply, MPSC were bowled out for 120 in 39.2 overs as efforts by S Shangker, P Bonem (26) and L Kipajan (24) weren't enough.
Al-Ameen's win was set up by the team's trio of Habibul lah Ahammed, Mustaque Mohammed and Muhammed Al Bashid who claimed three scalps apiece.
Mustaque Mohammed was adjudged the man of the match for his three wickets and six runs.
Relegation-threatened RULE, meanwhile, outperformed Blue hawk by nine wickets via VJD method at Cherapur, Thoubal.
It was RULE s third win from 10 matches as they gained a spot to move up to nine place in the point table.
Put in to bat, Blue Hawk led by Wakambam Samson (68) posted 138/6 in 18.2 overs, with contributions from Gautam Soubam (21) and N Ajit (18) .
For RULE, Jay Singh snapped two wickets as N Denin, T Kishan and N Saro-jkumar took one each.
In their reponse, RULE scored 135/1 in 14.3 overs for their nine-wicket vie tory after VJD method was applied.
In the chase, Jay Singh smashed an unbeaten 67 off 40 balls as Chabungbam Ishowrjit impressed with an unbeaten 50 off 39 balls and Ayekpam Rakesh contributed 8 .
With his all-round display, Jay Singh earned the man of the match accolade.
