It would be very lucky for a player to get selection for the World Cup 2014 and such opportunities do not come to every player.
Now, many players have been ruled out from the ensuing World Cup because of injury.
So, it is very much necessary for the players to keep their body fit and fine as well, Uttam added.
Apart from playing, a player should try to maintain his dieting schedule to gain fitness.
We have witnessed that most of the state players join in all the tournaments held in every localities without proper rest, which is required for any player.
Improper playing hugely affects the player and he or she may not be able to play for long.
So, players should refrain from such activities, he advised.

Manipur is now in a critical condition when it comes to Football.
So, in such a condition, we should not miss the opportunities of watching World Cup to enhance our playing skills and to revive the interest in the game of Football once again in the state.
Uttam took huge responsibilities in winning Santosh Trophy held in Manipur.
He started his career from Educational Enhancement Organization, Langdum.
Later on, he played with SODEC Wangjing and NEROCA Sangakpham.
