Awareness prog on beekeeping held

Imphal, September 25 2022: Under the sponsorship of Agriculture Department, Action for Social Justice Organisation (AFSJO), Khurai Soibam Leikai organised a one day awareness programme on 'Role of Beekeeping in Enhancing Agriculture Products in Manipur' at Kangchup Chiru village in Kangpokpi district on Saturday.

In a release, AFSJO informed that the programme was attended by Kangchup Village Authority chairman TR Jacob as the chief guest and RKVY nodal officer Th Joyprakash Singh and KCYC executive member Ts Loveson as the guests of honour.

As resource persons of the programme, Plant Health Clinic CO Kh Nimaichand Singh, RTD AAO L Sanatomba Singh and progressive farmer A Binoy Singh elaborated on benefits of beekeeping and various farming techniques.
