Workshop on development of ADC schools held

Autonomous District Council (ADC), Chandel organized a one day workshop on sustainable role for development of schools for Head Masters and Headmistress at Panchai Village Community Hall yesterday.
The inaugural function of the workshop was attended by Luckyson Kashung, Additional Deputy Commissioner Chandel as Chief guest; L.Darsinso Aimol, Chief Executive Officer of ADC Chandel as Functional president and Ts.
Kothar, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of ADC Chandel as guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Ts.
Kothar observed that the future of the District lies in the hands of the Head Masters and Headmistresses of primary schools.
If the HeadMasters and Headmistresses dedicated themselves and work wholeheartedly to educate the young children then the future of the District will be bright.
Therefore, the roles and responsibilities of Head Masters and Head Mistress are indeed very great, he added.
During the technical session of the workshop, O.Yaima Singh, Retd.Addl.
Director of Adult Education, Manipur spoke on topic of "The roles of Head masters and responsibilities for all round development of schools with special reference to SSA" while Salam Mangi Singh, Retd.Deputy Secretary of Board of Secondary Education, Manipur stressed on the topic of "School administration and management skills of Head Masters with basic reference to Rights to Education" as resource persons.
Besides Assistant inspectors and Deputy Inspectors of Schools of the District, S.Sumati, President of All Manipur Parents' Guardians' Association and TK.
Moshilpha, Inspector of Schools were also present during the workshop.
