Startups from NE attend conclave in Bhubaneswar

The Manipur Technology Innovation Hub (MTI Hub) team along with 16 Startups from Northeast including 10 from Manipur participated in the Startup Innovation Conclave 1.0 held on December 9 and 10 2022 at KIIT Technology Business Incubator, Bhubaneswar.
The program was inaugurated by Lok Ranjan, Secretary DONER, in presence of Professor Achyuta Samanta, founder KIIT and KISS, CmDE Amit Rastogi, CMD, NRDC, Professor Sasmita Samanta, VC of KIIT, Dr Mrutyunjay Suar, CEO, KIIT TBI and a host of other dignitaries, said a press release by MTI Hub.
Lok Ranjan, IAS stressed the effort made by the DONER Ministry to integrate the Startups from North East into the country's startup ecosystem with special attention on healthcare, education and employment.
In his address, he mentioned the need for able partners to identify, incubate and groom future startups from North Eastern States.
He also underlined the vision of the North East region that is achieving impactful transformation at an accelerated pace to catch up with its deficiencies in a sustainable way.
Lok Ranjan also inaugurated North East Pavilion where 16 Startups from North East have showcased their products and services and also launched three products.
The pavilion was visited by a number of officials from TDB, NRDC, DST, BIRAC, MSME, DAAD, investors, and venture capitalists.
