SHADC, Kangpokpi introduces centralized combined competition

adar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi has introduced the Centralized Combined Competition/Examination.
The brainchild of the Chief Executive Officer, SHADC, Kangpokpi, James Doujapao Haokip, the Centralized Combined Competition has been introduced by the MCS officer with an aim to improve the education system, to motivate both students and teachers along with increasing the competition level among the students and schools under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi.
The CEO stated that the Centralized Combined Competition/Examination will be conducted for students of classes I to VIII at a common venue as fixed by the District Council Administration, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi.
Stating that the syllabus will be a school/class-based syllabus, adding that the common questions for the competition will be set by SHADC, Kangpokpi.
He further said that the competition/examination will be held tentatively in the first week of November while adding that each school will select and send four best students from each class for the competition.
Reportedly, the first position holders from each class will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each with a certificate while the second and third position holders will be awarded Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 each respectively along with a certificate."Apart from this, a cash prize of Rs 25,000, Rs 20,000, and Rs 15,000 with a certificate each will be awarded to three best schools overall.
The CEO further informed that the best Assistant Inspector of Schools will also be awarded a cash prize of Rs 7,000 with a certificate.
He also strictly instructed all the schools under SHADC Kangpokpi to participate in the Centralized Combined Competition without fail.
Further, he informed that from the next academic session, the performance of schools/students in the Centralized Combined Competition will be taken into consideration for providing additional facilities to the schools.
The MCS officer then directed all Assistant Inspectors of Schools and Headmasters/Headmistress to ensure that all syllabus are timely covered before the Centralized Combined Competition/Examination adding that sample of questions will be sent to all schools by September.
