During a brief interaction with media persons, one of the protesters said that the students are not ready to leave the school and the State Government should revoke the order.
The students also appealed to the authority concerned to consider the academic career of the poor students.
Meanwhile, a teacher of Bengali High School on anonymity said that the school authority requested the Director of Education(S) to keep the order in abeyance till the completion of the academic year during a meeting held some days back.
However, the Director informed that the order cannot be held back and that he had no legal power to make any changes with the order.
