Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Dev has categorically stated that giving votes to the BJP in the ensuing election is imperative to keep going the momentum of development seen under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Biren.
Addressing a booth level meeting of BJP at Nganukon under Kumbi AC in Bishnupur district today, Biplab Dev continued that the BJP has also eliminated bandh culture and improved law and order situation in the last five years but admitted that infrastructure and road conditions are not up to the mark.
Saying that imposing blockades is detrimental to the State's economy and hinders development, the Tripura Chief Minister urged the people to elect the BJP again so as to address all these problems.
The State which was once infamous for insurgency is now known for peace, he continued.
During the tenure of the Congress, only 6 percent of households in Manipur had access to potable water, but the figure now exceeds 60 percent, Biplab Dev claimed and asserted that Manipur was sidelined during the Congress rule at the Centre.
Further stating the BJP's manifesto of the forthcoming election has many points that would be beneficial to the masses, the Tripura Chief Minister continued that the people of Manipur are now getting all their rightful shares under the BJP.
He further urged the people to not give votes to the Congress which undermines the potential of the North East region.
Continuing that all the North East States which were neglected by the Centre are now focusing on development, he credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for all the development seen in the region.
To enhance the healthcare facilities, the BJP will surely establish AIIMS in Manipur as assured under the guidance of Modi, he said.
