Ngangom Shivakumar, one of the youngest candidates in fray for the ensuing Manipur Assembly Election 2022 on Friday announced that he entered the political arena to improve the socio-economic condition of the state.
Ng Shivakumar, Independent candidate of Oinam AC made the statement during his flag hoisting ceremony held at his residence in Oinam.
Stating that the people of the Oinam AC have witnessed various development projects and schemes which were not implemented effectively, Shivakumar assured that if wins the election he would efficiently carry out his duties for the welfare and prosperity of the people.
He also continued that he would focus on generating employment opportunities for youths, upgrading health and education sectors, etc.

KAKCHING
Flag hoisting ceremony of Naorem Nabachandra Singh, JD (U) candidate for Kakching AC was also conducted today in the presence of JD(U) National general secretary, Afaque Ahmed Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, N Nabachandra stated that if he gets elected he would strive to provide employment to the youths and established industries to improve the socio-economic condition of the state.
Moreover, flag hoisting ceremony of Kshetrimayum Kennedy Singh, INC candidate for Kakching AC was held today in the presence of former Chief Minister, O Ibobi Singh.
Flag hoisting ceremony of Sungnu AC MLA, K Ranjit was also held at his residence in Sugnu in the presence of CWC member, Gaikhangam; CPI National council member, Dr M Nara and other prominent leaders of Congress party.
SENAPATI
National People's Party (NPP) candidate for 49-Tadubi (ST) AC, N Kayisii kicked off his election campaign today at Makhan Khuman village ground.
It was attended by Rock Lungleng, general secretary (admin) NPYF Manipur, representatives of different communities and supporters of NPP.
Speaking on the occasion, N Kayisii stated that he was overwhelmed by the love and support given to him by the people of Tadubi AC.
He continued that he would serve the people of the constituency irrespective of tribe or community and work for the welfare of the minorities and the deprived.
Similarly, the flag hoisting ceremony of Woba Joram, Independent candidate for 48-Mao (ST) AC was held today at Paomata Centre ground.
The flag was hoisted by Daili Nikhini Pfoze, convenor VCM and president Song Song Village in the presence of Z Hriinyi, ex-president Poumai Public Union, Kohima; K Paone; former Mahila president of 48-Mao BJP; RP Dani, ex-ADC member; Chopfokho Ishmeil, former president Mao Students Union; ML Markson, former chairman, ADC Senapati; and N Kaikho Kapa, former Jt Director, Tribal Development, among others.
The blessing prayer of Woba Joram was led by Rev L Ashuli, Pastor, Afii CRC.
Likewise, flag hoisting ceremony cum election campaign kick-off of Francis Ngajokpa, NPF candidate in 49-Tadubi (ST) AC was held on Thursday at Katomei local ground.
It was attended by K Raina, vice president NPF/MSU and former Deputy Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly; secretary general NPF (central), Achumbemo Kikon; advisor NPF/MSU, BD Behring; president NPF Senapati Division, Soni Mathew; and president Tuilang area, Kamalala Kipgen.
During the programme, K Raisong, president Maram Union delivered the welcome address while Rev H Kaba Maram, executive secretary MRNBA said the invocation prayer and S Pousiba, former vice chairman ADC Senapati proposed the benediction prayer.

Flag hoisting ceremony of Kangabam Jadumani, JD(U) candidate for 32-Wangkhem AC was held today at his residence in Charangpat.
As part of the ceremony, a public meeting was also conducted at Charangpat High School ground.
Similarly, flag hoisting ceremony of Usham Manglem, NPP candidate for Wangjing-Tentha AC was also conducted at his residence in Kairembikhok Awang Leikai.
It was attended by NPP Wangjing-Tentha Unit vice president, Keisam Chaoba; NPYF Manipur State president, L Jayananda and other members of NPP Manipur & NPP Wangjing-Tentha Unit.
