RPI will bag 4-5 seats: Ramdas

Union minister of state for social justice and empowerment Ramdas B Athawale on Thursday hoisted the flag of Wangkhem AC RPI (A) candidate Dr Nimaichand Luwang at the latter's residence.
Later, a public meeting was organised at BYFY Ground in Yairipok Bishnunaha.
The ceremony was attended by RPI (A) Northeast observer Vinod Nikalje, National vice president Krishna Milan Shukla, national secretary and state president Maheswar Thounaojam, state general secretary M Roshni Kumar and RPI (A) Wangkhem AC president L Sunilkumar Meetei.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramdas Athawale stated that at least 4/5 candidates of the party will emerge victorious in the upcoming elections and take part in the formation of the government.
He then urged all to support RPI (A) instead of supporting parties like Congress who are all about family politics.
In his speech, Dr Nimaichand Luwang predicted that Wangkhem constituency will have a minister after 25 years, and as such, urged the people to extend their support.
