PCC beat AKSDO by 26 runs en route to U-16 boys cricket final

Imphal, February 17 2022:
PCC (Mayai Koibi) beat AKSDO (Khangabok) by 26 runs to enter the final of the 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy on Thursday at Heinoupok play ground.
PCC elected to bat and set a 136-run target for their opponents.
The Mayai Koibi boys lost six wickets in their innings where Takhelmayum Vikash top-scored with 29, followed by Ajay Mahto Kumar (26 not out) and Max Warokpam Meitei (26).In reply, AKSDO faltered in their run chase and managed 109 after being bowled in 23 overs as Chingsomba (21), Saikhom Lanchenba Meitei (13 not out), Laishram Samson (12) and Sanayai Ningthoujam (12) were the batters who reached double figures for AKSDO.
For PCC, Ajay Mahto Kumar and Takhelmayum Vikash bowled well to equally share six wickets between them.
Laitonjam Anjan did his bit with two scalps and Pravin Kumar and Mairembam Lucky Meitei accounted for a wicket apiece in their side's semifinal triumph.
Earlier, Saikhom Kaiku picked up three wickets as Laishram Nirash, Saikhom.
Lanchenba and Saikhom Amarjit took one each for AKSDO.
Ajay Mahto Kumar, who scored 26 runs and claimed three wickets, earned the man-of-the-match title.
