Election observers assess poll preparedness

Senapati, February 14 2022: Election observers for Senapati district held a meeting with the district election officer (DEO) and nodal officers at the Conference Hall of DC office here on Monday.

The observers are M6hammed Ali Shihab (general), K Narayan Naik (police) and Uddaya Bhaskar Jakke (expenditure) .

During the meeting, DEO Mahesh Chaudhari briefed the observers with a power point presentation about the preparation and steps taken up by the district administration for a free, fair, safe and peaceful assembly election.

SP (Senapati) Karthick Malladi also highlighted the security measures taken up as part of the poll preparedness.

The general observer told the election officials to work collectively so as to ensure a repoll-free election in the district.

He also appealed to the ROs and AROs to visit personally polling stations.

The meeting was attended by nodal officers, ROs and AROs.

Meanwhile, scrutiny for three assembly constituencies of Senapati district was successfully completed on Monday by respective ROs at Mini Secretariat Complex, Senapati.
