N Rajningthou Memorial Trophy : AKSDO thrash YPHU by 113 runs to enter semis

AKSDO, Khangabok had made it to the semi-finals of the 3rd MNCA U-16 Naorem Rajninthou Memorial Trophy 2021-22 with a 113 run thrashing of YPHU, Lalambung today at Heinoupok ground.
YPHU had to rue their decision to field first as AKSDO piled up a total of 145 runs for 10 in 29 overs and AKSDO batting department had a horrible outing in the chase.
YPHU's Prince Kumar produced a brilliant bowling performance in AKSDO innings to enjoy a four wicket haul for 32 runs in 6 overs and gave some torrid time to AKSDO batters.

Bishorjit with 20 runs in his name, was the highest run getter for the Khangabok side followed by valuable contributions from Laishram Bungocha (19), Moirangthem Albert Singh (18), Laishram Nirash (15), Chingsomba Mocha (13) and Sanayai Ningthoujam.
The innings also saw Birbal Irom scalping twice for 24 runs in 5 overs while Bishworaj Sharma, Ksh Rishi Singh and Irom Sunny Singh picked a wicket apiece.
YPHU chase however turned disastrous as their batter failed to even set the pace and wickets fell in quick succession before bundling out for just 32 runs within 12.2 overs with AKSDO bowling attack led by Laishram Nirash Singh cut across the batting line up.
Laishram Nirash returned with the best bowling figure of 3 for 13 in his spell of 4 overs in this innings where lack of co-ordination led cost YPHU badly in the form of four run outs.
Sanayai Ningthoujam (1/8 in 5 overs which contain 3 maidens), Chingsomba Mocha (1/5 in 2 overs) and Saikhom Kaiku (1/0 in 0.2 over) also played a crucial role in defending AKSDO moderate total with their economical bowling today.
Laishram Nirash who led the YPHU collapse with his bowling feat was adjudged man of the match.
RCA, Lilong will play ESU, Wangkhei in the last quarter final match tomorrow.
