CPI council observes Victory Day

CPI Keishamthong Local Council observed the 77th Victory Day marking the defeat of fascism on Monday at Keishampat Lairembi community hall.
The observance function was attended by CPI Manipur secretary L Sotinkumar, CPI (M) general secretary Ksh Shanta, CPI secretary Sarat Salam and Keishamthong Local Council leader H Prithviraj as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, L Sotinkumar contended that the BJP government at the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to adopt and implement the doctrine of fascism of the erstwhile Nazi Germany in India.
The present government under the diktat of RSS is vigorously pushing the 'One party, one religion and one language' agenda, he maintained and informed that the 77th Victory Day is being observed to take a decision among like-minded political parties to save Constitution, democracy, secularism and federalism.
L Sotinkumar also recalled how fascist force of Nazi Germany was defeated by erstwhile Red Army and public of Soviet Union.
