69 Bn CRPF organises CAP

69 Bn CRPF of M&N Sector on Tuesday carried out Civic Action Programmes at Koirengei and Sekmai Kangjeibung.
A release of 69 Bn CRPF informed that the first civic action programme was organised at Poirei Nawakon Children Home, Koirengei wherein a newly constructed Toilet Block with running water facility (two toilets and two bathrooms) constructed by the battalion under CAP-2021 22 was inaugurated by its commandant Bajrang Lal.
In his address, the commandant informed the gath ering about the ongoing welfare programmes conducted by CRPF and appealed to the authorities of the Children Home for proper utilisation and maintenance of the facility.
The second civic action programme was held at Awang Sekmai, Imphal West where various football kits were distributed to Sekmai Kangjeibung Youth Club (SKYC).
Bajrang Lal said love for football is ingrained in the blood of every Manipuri besides other North-Eastern denizens.
Noting that many footballers of Manipur and other NE States have taken their love for the game to big events from national and international tournaments, he expressed confidence that the contemporary youth will reach even higher heights in the days to come and will bring glory for the nation.
