CRPF reaches out to children home, local club under civic action programme

Under the aegis of IGP, CRPF, M&N Sector 69 Bn, CRPF organized two different Civic Action Programmes today at Koirengei and Sekmai Kangjeibung.
First civic action programme was organized at Poirei Nawakon Children Home Koirengei wherein Bajrang Lal, Commandant 69 Bn, CRPF inaugurated the newly constructed Toilet block with running water facility (02 toilets and 02 bathrooms) each size 4'x4' which was constructed by 69 Bn CRPF under CAP-2021-22, said a statement issued by CRPF.
He appraised the gathering about the ongoing welfare programmes conducted by CRPF.
He also appealed to the authorities of children home for proper utilization and maintenance of the facility provided to them.

The second civic action programme was conducted at Awang Sekmai, Imphal West wherein they distributed various sports items of football to sports club of Sekmai Kangjeibung Youth Club (SKYC) .
Speaking at the occasion, Bajrang Lal said that the football game is in the blood of every Manipuri besides other North-Eastern States and they love football with true spirit.
He said that many players of Manipur and other NE States are playing in National and International Tournaments and had believed that today's present generation will definitely reach to National and International level matches in the days to come and will bring glories for the nation.
He further said that the aim of this programme is to motivate the younger generation in the field of sports to develop their hidden talent.
It is worthwhile mentioning that 69 Bn, CRPF has been consistently organizing CAPs and providing necessary assistance in construction of Toilets & Bathrooms, Community Halls, Water Storage facilities, Medical Camps, Sports items etc.
to the needy Clubs, villages and localities.
The children, local villagers and club members of the area heartily appreciated and welcomed these Civic Action Programmes conducted by 69 Bn, CRPF.
