Kangpokpi, August 19 2022:
The Kuki Students' Organisation Chandel (KSOC) commended authority of JNV Chandel for strictly adhering to the admission process as specified under NVS admission guidelines/procedures in the district.
According to the students' body's Information department, there are two important guidelines in the admission process which every JNV should uphold.
They include a candidate applying for JNVST should be a bonafide of the district where the JNV is located and secondly, the candidate should be studying in class V in a government or government aided or recognised school in that district.
The students' body said, as an ardent supporter of the cause of education it acknowledges the efforts of DC Chandel, VMC JNV Chandel chairman, ZEO Chandel and JNV Chandel principal for ensuring that stringent procedures are followed.
It recalled that there have been complaints and doubts by the parents, regarding the admission process pf JNV Chandel wherein many students from Chandel and Tengnoupal districts were deprived of their admission as the seats were being allocated to students from outside the district on the basis of false certificates submitted by parents which hamper the admission of genuine candidates.
While appreciating the efforts taken up by the authority to ensure fair selection, the KSO unit urged all parents of students from outside the districts to refrain from indulging in any act that tantamount to diluting the admission process of JNV Chandel and accept the steps taken by the authority regarding the matter while reiterating that JNV has been established in every district meant for bonafide students of the district concerned.
It also assured of its assistance for the smooth functioning of the school.
