Tree saplings planted on birth anniv of BJP founder

Different units of BJP observed the 120th birth anniversary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder president Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee by planting tree saplings on Tuesday.
BJP Kakching Mandal planted numerous saplings at Kakching Lamkhai Mamang Ching to mark the birth anniversary of the BJP founder as a part of the tree plantation campaign of BJP conducted since Dr Mukherjee's death anniversary on June 23.Speaking at the closing function, Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Ra-meshwar urged all to plant at-least 12 trees each year and nurture them so that the trees could grow to maturity and help in conservation of environment.
During the programme, MLA Ra-meshwar, BJP Kakching Mandal president Sougaijam Shyamjai, general secretary Thounaojam Nanda, Kakching District general secretary Y Santosh, other office bearers, party workers and members of Covid Task Forces of Kakching AC planted fruit bearing trees all around Kakching Lamkhai Mamang Ching.
BJP Khangabok Mandal also observed the birth anniversary of Dr Mukherjee during which BJP Manipur Pradesh state executive member Khundrakpam Menjor Mangang led the BJP workers in offering floral tributes to the photo of Dr Mukherjee.
The observance was also attended by BJP Khangabok Mandal vice president Dr Khundrakpam Romenkumar Singh, BJP Khangabok Mandal in-charge FM Islaudin, BJP Thoubal District secretary Md Nasir Khan and BJP Thoubal OBC Morcha general secretary Khundrakpam Sangkar Singh.
BJP Nambol Mandal observed the birth anniversary at its office with its president S Brajamani Singh and intending candidate from Nambol AC Th Basanta leading workers in paying floral tributes to the late leader.
The observance was also marked by mass tree plantation at Chaning Leima Hill and distribution of power sprayer to farmers.
Similarly, M/s Joymati Pharmaceuticals, Guwahati proprietor Wahengbam Dineshchandra planted 100 saplings at Patsoi Part 2 on Tuesday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Mukherjee.
