Crypto relief package reaches CCpur

Crypto Relief and Umeed Project provided 40 tonnes of ration packs to the Churachandpur-based Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) for further distribution among the people living in and around Churachandpur town who have been hit hard economically by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Poor villagers of Muallum and Tuithapi, auto drivers, rickshaw pullers, saloon workers and those who live hand to mouth besides farmers from villages like Suangpi, Khawlmun, Ngurte, Kaihlam, G Bualzang area were provided the rations.
As the first move towards providing the relief, a team of the CCI reached out to villagers of Kaihlam and G Bualjang on Tuesday.
CCI proprietor Pauzagin informed this daily that rest of the ration shall be distributed to needy and most vulnerable sections living in Churachandpur town areas in association with CSO leaders of Highland Group, Sunbird, KSO, Hmar Youth Association, Zomi Youth Association, Kholmun Youth Club and various village authority leaders.
Steps are underway on a war footing for the purpose, Pauzagin informed.
One Crypto relief ration pack comprises 12 kg rice, mixed Dal 2.5 kg, Daliya (500gm), sugar (1kg), salt (1kg), Poha (500gm), tea (500gm), chilli powder (200gm), haldi (turmeric) powder (200gm), dhaniya powder (200gm), cumin (100gm) and sanitary napkins (6 pcs) .
