MACS employees to join strike at Delhi

Imphal, February 10 2014:
A 10-member team of Manipur State AIDS Control Society Employees' Association (MACSEA) will go to join the hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
Under the initiative of All India AIDS Control Employees' Association, State AIDS Control Societies across the country have been on an indefinite strike since 30th January to press for their seven-charter demands.
As informed by All India AIDS Control Employees' Association, MACSEA today decided to send a team of 10 members to represent MACS in the all India strike at New Delhi.
MACSEA representatives will leave Imphal on 11th February and join the second phase of the hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
Meanwhile, MACSEA continues with its relay hunger strike at RD Wing Lamphel.
MACSEA launched its strike from 30th January as part of the all India strike call given by All India AIDS Employees' Association.
MACSEA took out a mass rally on 3rd February and started its relay hunger strike from 7th February.
