Letter from UK flays Palace take over

The protest meet against the decision of State Government to take over the Sana Konung for development under the Historical Monument Act completed 19 days today.
Meanwhile, a person from United Kingdom has sent a letter to the Titular King Leishemba Sanajaoba condemning the State Government's decision.
Members of several social organizations including Tammi-Chingmi Apunba Meira Paibee Lup, Kanglamei and Ema Keithel Semgat-Sagat Lup participated in the protest meet held at the Sana Konung today.
A member of Sana Konung Semgat-Sagat Lup told Hueiyen Lanpao that one Brian Demby, LLM from 39 Heddington Grove, London, N79SY, United Kingdom has written a letter to the King expressing strong disapproval of the State Government's decision to take over the Palace.
A member of Kanglemei said that the customary rights of the people should not be abolished by the Government.
The social organizations are prepared to launch intense agitations to safeguard the Palace.
The decision of the State Government must be revoked at the earliest in view of people's aspiration, she demanded.
Ema Momon of Tammi-Chingmi Apunba Meira Paibee Lup said that the Government should not plan anything against the wishes of the people.
They would not back off from their stance unless the Government withdraws its decision to take over the Royal Palace, she reiterated.
