The JAC in a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister had demanded that the culprits responsible for the killing of Naushad be booked and award exemplary punishment for the crime committed on the victim.
Naushad's body was found at Lilong Nganlou Loukol, Thoubal District on April 2 .
If the authorities refused to take measures to fulfill the demands, the JAC will resort to its own course of action, warned the memorandum.
The memorandum signed by JAC convener A Noor also requested the State Government to immediately constitute a probe against the brutal killing of Naushad, son of Suleiman alias Babu of Khergao Makha Leikai.
The memorandum mentioned that Naushad left home around 2 pm on April 1 and his body was found the next day bundled inside the dickey of a car tied with a plastic rope and with bullet injury on his head.
The JAC in the memorandum demanded the authority to take action within 24 hours and said it will not claim the body until and unless the culprit has been arrested and produce before the public.
