Two cases detected, caseload falls to 6

Imphal, November 29 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state came down to 6 on Tuesday, as government bulletins reported four recoveries and two new cases from out of 110 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 1.8 per cent.
Both fresh cases (1 male & 1 female) are residents of Imphal West district.
Out of the six active cases, five are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,918 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 102 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,456, out of which 13,36,683 had received the second dose and 2,78,824 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49848), Imphal East (32066), Thoubal (10299), Churachandpur (11294), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9987), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3372); Kakching (6982), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1058), and Pherzawl (477).Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
