Wellness and consultation camp organised

As part of the Naturopathy Day observed on November 18, Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association, Kakching organised a Wellness and Consultation Camp at Grace Cottage Cultural and Educational Development Foundation (Grace Cottage Academy), Kakching on Tuesday.
Organised under the joint aegis of Surya Foundation, International Naturopathy Organisation (INO) and National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Ministry of AYUSH, the camp was attended by Grace Cottage Academy founder Kshetrimayum Chaoba Singh as chief guest and Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association secretary Dr Mayanglamabam Rajkumar as president.
AYUSH MO Dr Naorem Ambrabati and Dr Y Rajesh spoke on the topic of 'Naturopathy: An Integrative Medicine' as resource persons.
Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association secretary Dr Mayanglamabam Rajkumar said that Mahatma Gandhi, after reading Adolf Just's book on nature cure, "Return to Nature", established the "All India Nature Cure Foundation Trust" on November 18, 1947 with the hope of spreading the benefits of nature cure in all villages across India.
The Trust was established along with Dr Dinshaw K Mehta at Tadiwala road, Pune (now called National Institute of Naturopathy, Bapu Bhavan).
The Ministry of AYUSH has been celebrating November 18 as Naturopathy Day since 2018 to commemorate establishment of the Trust, he conveyed.
