Imphal, March 11 2022:
The six successful candidates of Janata Dal (United) left Imphal on Friday morning and met with party national president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at Patna, Bihar.
According to a report, the six successful candidates, namely Kh Joykisan (Thangmeiband), Mohd Abdul Nasir (Lilong), Th Arunkumar (Wangkhei), Ashab Uddin (Jiri), LM Khaute (Churachandpur) and Ngursanglur Sanate (Tipaimukh) left for Patna early Friday morning.
They then met with leaders of the party in the evening.

It may be mentioned here that after the election results were declared on Thursday, everyone is waiting to see if the new government would be a coalition or not.
BJP also is awaiting the decision of its central leaders.
Although JD (U) is an alliance partner of the BJP led NDA government in the centre, it is still quite unsure whether the party JD-U) would take part in the formation of the new state government, considering BJP did not forge any pre-poll alliances.
However, following the meeting of the six winning JD (U) candidates with party leader Nitish Kumar, it is speculated that the central leaders of JD (U) will try to include the party in the BJP-led coalition.
For this, the party's leaders will be holding talks with the BJP leaders at the centre in the shortest time possible and make a decision in the matter, sources conveyed.
Meanwhile, the Time of India quoted JD(U) national general secretary and party in-charge for northeast Afaque Ahmad Khan as saying that "It was a purely courtesy meeting.
Our newly-elected MLAs came to Patna to express their gratitude to the party's top leaders including CM Nitish Kumar and party's national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh" .
Khan, who led the team of MLAs from Imphal to Patna, said the JD(U)'s northeast council convener NSN Lotha also was the part of the delegation that met the Bihar CM.
He said the Manipur MLAs reached Patna from Imphal via Kolkata.
Other prominent JD(U) leaders who were present on the occasion at the CM residence, were the party national president Lalan Singh, its national parliamentary board chairperson Upendra Kushwaha, national general secretary and Bihar minister Sanjay Kumar Jha and party's Bihar state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha.
Lalan Singh hosted a dinner party at a local hotel in honour of the visiting team of the Manipur MLAs.
Speaking on the occasion, Lalan said it was a historic moment for JD(U) .
"I firmly believe that the newly-elected Manipur MLAs will soon become the flag-bearers of the CM Nitish Kumar's slogan 'Development with Justice' in the entire northeast region of the country.
It is a matter of happiness that JD(U) has this year put a strong footprint outside Bihar".
Lalan also said the JD(U) would soon achieve the status of a 'national party' under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
