Sagolband Community Quarantine Centre now functioning

Imphal, May 14 2020:
The Community Quarantine Centre at Johnstone School of Sagolband AC has started functioning since the last few days, informed a press release issued by Sagolband Constituency Progressive Committee (SCPC).
Currently, around 20 people are accommodated at the centre while some have opted for paid hotel quarantine.
The centre has arranged for 100 mattresses and mosquito nets each, basic household items like harpic, lizol, hand sanitizers, mosquito repellants, buckets, water tankers amongst other things, it said.
Disinfectant machines to sanitise everyone who goes in are also kept and PPE kits have been provided to workers and members of SCPC.
Meals are being provided to everyone residing.
Tea, bread, jam, fruit items for breakfast and dal, rice, paneer, vegetables, champhut, eromba for lunch and dinner will be provided on a regular basis and non-veg items like fish and chicken will be provided twice a week, it further informed.
SCPC while assuring that all steps will be taken to ensure the well-being of the inmates has also requested them to keep the centre clean.
It also thanked all its members and volunteers who are working tirelessly and helping to maintain the centre, it added.
