10 more cases take CCpur's Dengue total to 51

CCpur, October 31 2022:
There is no let-up in the spread of Dengue despite the best efforts of the department concerned as Churachandpur today confirmed 10 new cases, taking the total cases recorded in the district to 51 .
Until Sunday the cases stood at 41, however of all the samples sent to a Laboratory at JNIMS Imphal 10 of them returned positive today.
The District Malaria Department or National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC) has pulled up its sleeves to contain the spread of the viral disease.
They have visited localities where cases of the virus have been reported with their personnel taking up preventive measures and taking up IEC Awareness.
At least one of the reported cases had turned fatal.
A middle-aged woman had succumbed to viral fever last week.
The new cases reported today are from Salem Veng, Vengnuam South, LV Lane, Beulahlane, Rengkai, Vengnuam New Lamka, and College Veng.
