Valedictory ceremony of Special Campaign 2.0 held at RIMS

A valedictory ceremony of the month-long Special Campaign 2.0 for disposal of pending matters was held today at Jubilee Hall, RIMS.
The month-long Special Campaign 2.0 began from October 2, 2022, said a press release by RIMS.
Speaking at the occasion, Professor L Ranjit Singh, Director, RIMS stated that RIMS Hospital has been progressing at a good pace and now one can witness a changed and developed RIMS.
He appreciated the former Director for his efforts and initiatives to help in keeping RIMS neat and clean.
He also urged all to unite and work together sincerely as a team to keep RIMS Hospital and its surroundings clean and expressed that all should make concerted efforts and strive to win the Kaya Kalp competition.
The Director further thanked all the staff of CRED and MSS for carrying out their duties diligently.
Professor N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, highlighted the importance of Swachhta Action Plan under Kaya Kalp.
He extended gratitude to four entrepreneurs of "Package Drinking Water Bottles and Allied Industries" who donated five plastic bottle banks for disposal of plastic bottles inside the campus.
He further mentioned that three garbage dumping places will be transformed into gardens.
Professor Y Govindaraj Singh, Nodal Officer, SAP 2022-23/Kaya Kalp RIMS; faculty members, officials, staff of Manipur Security Services and CRED also attended the programme.
On other hand, a farewell function was held at the New Examination Hall, RIMS in honour of Dr Professor Ngangbam Taruni Devi, Department of Medicine who has served about 38 years at RIMS and is also a renowned doctor of the State.
She was relieved from the service of RIMS today.
The farewell function was attended by the Director of RIMS; Medical Superintendent; DDA (Admn), CAO/FA, staff and faculty members.
