New executives of Justice Committee on Anglo-Manipuri War 1891 appointed

Imphal, February 11 2022:
A general body meeting was organised to appoint the executive body for the Justice Committee on Anglo-Manipuri War 1891 on February 10 .
In a statement, the Justice Committee shared that the newly appointed members are Yumnamcha Dilipkumar (president, PANDM) as chairman; Ksh Somarendro (president, IPAK) as vice-chairman; Birjit Tourangbam (president, IPSA) as convener; Sanjit Soraisham (president, ACOAM-Lup) as co-convener (finance); Johnson Thiyam (secy general, KSA) as co-convener (organisation) and Ch Pakpi Chanu (president, CLK) as co-convenor (IPR) .
The statement further informed that H Ibotombi Khuman was appointed as the chief consultant and Y Leirik Leima, RK Sanahanbi, Kh Chingkhei Luwang, Ayekpam Langdol Leima as advisors.
It may be noted these selected members will serve their term for the next three years.
It may be noted that the Justice Committee was established with the goal of imparting awareness to the people about the Anglo-Manipuri War of 1891 The Justice Committee has also appealed to the people to provide aid to the families of the bravehearts who sacrificed their in the Anglo-Manipuri War and learn more about their history.
