Education Minister calls for sincerity and dedication from teachers

The Golden Jubilee celebration of Dhanamanjuri College of Teacher Education (DMCTE) came to an end today.
The golden jubilee celebration began yesterday at Golden Jubilee Hall of DMCTE organized by DM College of Teacher Education.
Education Minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh; MLA of Thangmeiband AC Kh Joykisan Singh; Professor N Rajmuhon Singh, Vice-Chancellor, DM University and Dr RK Lokendra Singh, Principal, DMCTE graced today's event as presidium members.
Addressing the gathering, Th Basanta Kumar Singh said that completion of 50 years is a landmark achievement of DMCTE.
The College has done a commendable job in imparting knowledge to the aspiring teachers who in turn will be nurturing and moulding the future students of the State.
Stating that teaching is one of the noblest professions, the Minister said that teachers should work with dedication and sincerity to inculcate knowledge in students.
Further he appealed to all the experienced educators and teacher trainers to endorse the core values of character building and to incorporate all the aspects of National Education Policy NEP 2020 to produce better teachers and educators in future.
The Minister also informed that the Government is trying to manage teacher shortage and the transfer/posting policies considering the constraints faced by the teachers while performing their duties.
During the programme, mementos were presented to the teachers of the College to honour them for their hardwork and dedication in imparting training to the aspiring teachers.
