State reports 90 Covid cases, 3 deaths in last 24 hrs

Imphal, February 13 2022:
The State reported 90 fresh Covid cases including one CAPF personnel and three deaths in the last 24 hours, mounting the cumulative cases and death toll to 1,35,838 and 2083 respectively.
As 1,837 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, the single day test positivity rate updated by the Covid Common Control Room is 4.9 percent.
The positive cases from the general population are from Imphal East (20), Imphal West (26), Thoubal (8), Bishnupur (11), Kakching (5), Kangpokpi (2), Tamenglong (2), Ukhrul (1), Senapati (2) and Churachandpur (12) .
Among the districts, Imphal West reported the maximum number of Covid cases (26) .
The three deaths, on other hand, were reported from Imphal East, Imphal West and Kangpokpi.
Today, at least 139 persons - Home Isolation (106), RIMS (4), JNIMS (5) and CCCs (24) were discharged and with this the recovery rate now stands at 96.80 percent.
The number of active cases is 2269 .
Yesterday, the State distributed 269 D-type and 70 B-type oxygen cylinders to different health facilities in Manipur and administered 6230 doses of Covid vaccine.
As per the Government bulletin, the number of vacant Covid beds at RIMS (7005237591) and JNIMS (8837342527) is 102 and 241 respectively.
In terms of vaccination, the State has till yesterday fully vaccinated 46.78 percent of eligible population while another 60.21 percent had received the first.
Imphal West occupied the topmost position in the vaccination chart as 63.13 percent of its population had taken the full dose and it is followed closely by Kakching at 62.58 percent and Jiribam (60.56 percent) .
Kangpokpi is at the bottom of the chart as the district has fully vaccinated only 14.81 percent of its population.
