Awareness programme on "Cyber security & emerging technologies" held

Thoubal, December 10 2022: District Skill Committee Thoubal and National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Imphal today organised an 1-day awareness programme for school & college student on "Cyber Security & Emerging Technologies" at Heirok Higher Secondary School in Heirok Part-III.

It was attended by AC to DC Thoubal District, Kh Lenin Singh; Kh Subhabati Devi, Scientist-C, NIELIT Imphal and N Tomba Singh, teacher of Heirok Higher Secondary School as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Kh Subhabati Devi informed that the awareness programme was conducted under the project "Capacity Building in IECT Including Training in Digital Skillsets and Current Industry Demanding Technologies for Various Section of Society in the North East States".

He also mentioned that similar programmes will be organised across the district to educate the public on cyber security and emerging technologies.
