International Human Rights Day observed at various places

As observed across the Globe, New Life Foundation Manipur today observed International Human Rights Day at Nalon village in Churachandpur district under the theme, "Dignity, Freedom and Justice for All" .
It was attended by Dr L Pishak, secretary New Life Foundation Manipur; Nalon village chief, Siempu; and All Bishnupur District Working Journalist Union president, Y Samananda as presidium members.
At the event, Dr L Pishak stated that International Human Rights Day was observed to promote equality, peace, justice, freedom and the protection of human dignity.
THOUBAL
NFI Field Office Thoubal also observed International Human Rights Day at Wangjing, Thoubal District to commemorate the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948 .
The programme was supported by National Foundation of India, New Delhi and co-funded by the European Union.
During the event, a roundtable discussion on Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals 2030 was conducted.
TENGNOUPAL
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Chandel and Moreh Legal Aid Clinic under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority also observed International Human Rights Day at Ex-servicemen office in Moreh Ward Number 9 .
The programme was attended by Judicial Magistrate first class Moreh, Sarungbam Mangaleibi; Kuki Women Union & Human Rights Moreh chairperson, Lambem Chongloi and HTC Unit IX secretary, Mangthong Haokip as presidium members.
