MNCA Elite tournament: Sunday matches abandoned, teams split points

Teams in Sunday's MNCA Elite Tournament matches split points after their games were called off halfway through due to rain.
CYCLONE (Thangmeiband), PTRC (Patsoi Part IV), CHAMP Criqket Club (Khagempalli), Al-Ameen, REYS (Khwai Nagapamal Lamabam Leikai) and RULE (Meitram) shared one point each after their matches were abandoned.
PTRC were all out for 190 in 39.3 overs, with Loitongbam Shitaljit scoring 87 .
In reply, CYCLONE had barely played one over for 7/0 when rain interrupted the action, and the match was ultimately called off.
Al-Ameen, meanwhile, got dismissed for 123 in 37.2 overs as Nawaz top-scored for his team with 68.CHAMP reached 55/0 in 11.1 overs before their match was abandoned due to rain.
The other match saw RULE score 211 (all out) in 44.5 overs, with Sanjembam Somokanta Khuman collecting 65.In their response, RULE had faced 3.1 overs for 16/0 when rain played spoilsport, forcing the match to be called off.
With the Sunday outcome, all the teams had to share one point each.
CHAMP remain table leaders with 13 points from eight matches.
CYCLONE also have 13 points from eight matches.
Courtesy of a better net run rate (NRR), CHAMP stay at the top of point table.
On the other hand, PTRC and REYS are equal on 10 points from eight matches, but the former occupy third place by virtue of a higher NRR.
