CPI Local Conference held

The 51st Local Conference of Communist Party of India (CPI), Lamsang Local Council was held today at Kameng village under Lamsang Assembly Constituency.
It was attended by CPI leaders Irom Manihar, L Sotinkumar, N Singhajit and M Joykumar as presidium members, said a release issued by Manipur State Council Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI).
As a part of the conference, the Council's draft political & organisation reports were presented accompanied by a discussion about the future undertakings of the Council in the coming year.
The delegates also took a number of resolutions to strengthen the Secular Democratic Force, bring development in the constituency, make health & education free in the constituency and work for the success of INDIA Alliance's candidate Dr Ak Bimol in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
New executive members of the Lamsang Local Council were also elected during the conference.
Similarly, the 41st Annual Conference of CPI Patsoi Local Council was also held today at the residence of L Thoiren, state secretary MSC/CPI in Takyel Khongbal.
