Spare time for exercise: Dr Lenin

Indian Medical Association (IMA), Manipur Branch president Dr RK Lenin has urged people to spare at least a few minutes a day for exercise for good mental and physical health.
He made the statement during the observance of World Health Day by the IMA unit at Manipur Trade and Expo Centre, Lamboi Khongnangkhong on Sunday.
Held under the theme of 'My Health, My Right', the observance was attended by Family Welfare director Dr L Tomcha Khuman and others in the medical profession.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Lenin mentioned that the most common excuse people have for not exercising is lack of time.
However, the importance of exercise is realised when one gets sick.
Thus, he urged all to spare at least a few minutes a day to exercise and stay healthy.
Later, as part of the observance, a cycle rally was taken out, followed by a medical camp for residents of the relief camp set up at Manipur Trade and Expo Centre, and a presentation of a play, titled, 'Jagoigi Layeng' .
