PTCC, PTRC, SCCC win in Elite Tournament

Imphal, March 11 2024:
PTCC, Patsoi Part III; PTRC, Patsoi Part IV; and SCCC, Singjamei Thongam Leikai dominated their respective opponents in league matches of the 8th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2023-24 on Monday.
At Public Ground, Khangabok Part-Ill, PTCC routed AL-AMEEN by 210 runs after Andyroshan Mandingbam Singh (120) and Paonam Champion Singh (45) helped PTCC amass 282 in 44.4 overs.
Captain Nawaz with three wickets was the main wicket taker for AL-AMEEN.
In reply, AL-AMEEN were bundled out for 72 in 15.5 overs with Sohail Akram (4 wickets) spearheading the PTCC bowling attack.
PTRC trounced CRAU, Khamnam Bazar by 8 wickets in the other match at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
CRAU could only muster 127 all out in 34.3 overs against PTRC's bowling attack of Bishworjit Singh Konthoujam (3 wickets), Jotin Singh Pheiroijam (2), Tamarland Pheiroijam (2), Rohit Sharma Aribam (1) and Deepak (1) .
Jotin Pheiroijam then opened the batting and scored 63 runs supported by Robinson Sougijam (35 not out) ensuring PTRC reached the target in 31.5 overs losing two wickets.
At Lairenjam Public Ground, SCCC triumphed over REYS, Khwai Nagamapal Lamabam Leikai by 8 wickets.
Laishram Daniel Meitei (52) and Md Bashir Rahman (47) took REYS to 217 in 41.5 overs against the SCCC's bowling attack of Rakeshwor Republic Hidangmayum (3 wickets), Phijam Langamba Meitei (2) and captain Sandeep Chakraborty (1) .
SCCC's Ulenyai Khwairakpam (94) supported by Lis-han Meitei Khaidem (42 not out) then chased the target in 41.2 overs while losing two wickets.
