Monsang bodies condemn assault on Sapa Wanglar

Kakching, September 09 2023: The Sirti Upa Ruh (Monsang Tribe Union), Sirti Sanuw Ruh (Monsang Women Union and Sirti Thiimjiitam Sourkhe (Monsang Naga Student's Union) have strongly condemned assault on former ANSAM president Sapa Wanglar Thiirtung Monsang by Assam Rifles troops at Bijoypur village near Pallel on September 7 evening.

According to the Monsang bodies, Wanglar Thiirtung Monsang was thrashed by personnel of 26 AR without any reason at Bijoypur check point after he was let go by police commando teams deployed nearby.
