IPAK celebrates foundation day in low key

Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK), Manipur celebrated its 10th foundation day in a sombre way on Thursday in view of the restive situation in the state.
In a release, IPAK secretary general Leishangthem Romen Meetei conveyed that the programme was attended by its president Ksh Somorendro, founder president & Federation of Haomee president Sapamcha Jadumani, IPSA president Tourangbam Beerjit and PANDAM president Yumnamcha Dilip as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Somorendro affirmed that IPAK will continue its campaign to oust illegal immigrants from the state, press for implementation of NRC and revocation of the Manipur Inner Line Permit (1st Amendment) Guidelines, 2022 as it is filled with discrepancies and replace it by a more stringent and accurate guideline along with working with public to resolve the present crisis in state, it added.
